This chapter operates under Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust, bringing its education, health and hunger-relief mission to families in Mumbai.
This site is operated as the Mumbai chapter of Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust — you can find us online at ratnanidhii.in.
Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust was founded over 24 years ago by Mr. Mahendra Mehta and is today led by Managing Trustee Rajiv Mehta. The trust was originally registered as a Public Trust under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950, and works across five programme areas: Education, Health & Disability, Hunger, Livelihood, and Disaster Relief.
Locally, our Mumbai chapter puts that mission into practice on the ground: running financial-literacy sessions and a science centre for schoolchildren, supporting medical camps and mobility-aid distribution for people with disabilities, and keeping kitchens running so that no family in our reach goes without a meal. Every programme we run is one of the trust's established, audited initiatives — not a one-off local activity.
Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust — ground-level programme work, Mumbai
Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust publishes an audited annual report every year, covering income, programme spend and outcomes for the whole trust, including this chapter's Mumbai activity. In FY 2024–25 the trust's core programmes reached, among others:
These figures are drawn from the trust's published Annual Report 2024–25. This chapter does not keep a separate bank account or file separate audited accounts — every donation raised through this site is receipted and accounted for within the parent trust's books, under the registrations listed above. Full income-and-expenditure statements are available on request.

Programmes are shaped around the specific needs of families in Mumbai, not a one-size-fits-all template.
Donations are tracked and reported against the programmes they support — see our Impact page and the financial transparency breakdown below for annual reporting.
As an official chapter, our work follows the standards and code of conduct set by Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust.
We're happy to answer questions about our programmes, our registration, or how donations are used.
